How Group Space compares

None of these are bad products. Most of them are good at one part of running a group, which is why so many groups end up running three of them at once. Each page says what the other app does better, too.

The short version

Most groups do not have a software problem, they have a "five apps" problem. The contact list is in a spreadsheet, the schedule is in a scheduler, the conversation is in a group chat, the photos are behind a link somebody lost, and the collection is on a payment app. Group Space is an attempt to put those five in one private place that every family can reach, without ads and without the content being readable by whoever runs the servers.

If one of these tools is doing its job and nothing is going wrong, keep it. The comparison pages are for when it is not.

Also useful: the guides, or the pages for classrooms, sports teams, and troops and packs.
