For team parents and managers

The team parent app for rosters, rides, and the photos from Saturday

Half the season is logistics. Who is driving to the away game, who is bringing the oranges, and where did that video of the goal go.

Sound familiar

The same four things, every season.

  • 01

The roster is a photo of a printed sheet, taken at the first practice, now unreadable.

  • 02

The 6am schedule change goes out by text, and three families are on a different thread.

  • 03

Someone filmed the goal. It arrives as a 480p blur two weeks later, if at all.

  • 04

The carpool for the away game is somewhere in a chat about uniform sizes.

How it lands

What each part does for a team parent or manager.

  • Directory

The roster with the contact details attached, kept current by the families themselves rather than by whoever volunteered to type it.

  • Events

Games, practices, and the end-of-season party. One tap to say who is coming, so nobody has to count replies.

  • Photos and video

Full-length video that survives the trip, and albums anyone can pull from. The goal, in the quality it was actually shot in.

  • Discussion

Carpools in one thread, uniforms in another, the schedule change where people will find it.

  • Chip In

The coach's gift, the tournament fee, the team banner. Collected once, visibly, without chasing.

The fair question

We already use TeamSnap or Band. Why change?

If it works for you, keep it. The honest difference is scope and privacy: those apps are good at scheduling and less good at being the one place your families' contacts, photos, and conversation all live, and they carry ads or analytics that this does not. Group Space keeps the whole thing in one private space instead of a scheduler plus a group chat plus a photo link. Worth comparing rather than switching on principle.

Set it up once. Everyone else just joins.

The organizer pays for the group. Every family they invite is free, on whatever phone they carry.

Also for classrooms, troops and packs.
